About Lion Dance
Often mistaken for dragon dance, lion dance is an important traditional cultural performance to the lunar new year as it helps generate great fortune and wealth throughout the year as families and friends gather together to celebrate the festive New Year!
Lion dance is an important performance for the lunar new year as it projects prosperity and good luck. Having a lion dance blessing for your store or other celebratory events brings in good fortune and peace as the lions would scare the evil spirits away.
Lion Dance Performances
Lion Dance is performed primarily at traditional festivals such as Lunar New Year (Tết) and the Mid-Autumn Festival (Tết Trung Thu), and other occasions such as birthdays, weddings, and openings of new businesses in order to bring good luck.
